Advent 2027 begins on Sunday, November 28, and runs 27 days to Christmas Eve, December 24. Christmas Day falls on a Saturday. A short plan reads the birth accounts in Matthew 1 to 2 and Luke 1 to 2 and a few prophecy passages, one small reading a day.

The dates

Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. In 2027, Christmas is Saturday, December 25, so Advent begins Sunday, November 28. From November 28 to December 24 is 27 days.

Week by week

Week one: Isaiah 9 and Micah 5, the prophecies. Week two: Luke 1, the announcements to Zechariah and Mary. Week three: Matthew 1 and 2, the genealogy, Joseph and the visit of the wise men. Week four and Christmas Eve: Luke 2, the birth.
