Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the BibleScroll mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by BibleScroll ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using BibleScroll, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BibleScroll, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization.

2. Description of Service

BibleScroll is a mobile application that provides:

• •AI-powered Bible chat assistant for spiritual guidance and scripture exploration
• •Daily verse notifications and devotionals
• •Bible reading plans and progress tracking
• •Bookmarking, highlighting, and note-taking features
• •Home screen widgets for quick access to scripture

3. Account Registration

Some features of BibleScroll require you to create an account. When you register:

• •You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• •You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• •You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for extended periods.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Premium Features

BibleScroll offers both free and premium (subscription-based) features. Premium features may include unlimited AI chat, advanced reading plans, and additional customization options.

4.2 Subscription Terms

• •Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or annually).
• •Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• •Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• •You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you have billing issues, please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the notice.

5. AI Chat Feature

BibleScroll includes an AI-powered chat feature for exploring scripture. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree:

• •Not Professional Advice: AI responses are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional theological, counseling, medical, or legal advice.
• •Accuracy Limitations: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may contain errors or misinterpretations. Always verify important information with authoritative sources.
• •Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use and act upon information provided by the AI assistant.
• •Appropriate Use: Do not use the AI chat for purposes that are harmful, illegal, or contrary to the spirit of biblical teaching.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use BibleScroll to:

• •Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• •Infringe upon the rights of others
• •Distribute harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• •Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• •Use automated scripts, bots, or other means to access the Service
• •Resell, redistribute, or sublicense any part of the Service

7. User Content

You may create content within the app, including notes, highlights, and bookmarks ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your User Content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content and biblical texts in the public domain), features, and functionality are owned by BibleScroll and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

8.2 Biblical Content

Bible translations included in the app may be subject to copyright by their respective publishers. Usage of these translations is subject to the terms set by their copyright holders.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BibleScroll and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• •Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
• •You must delete all copies of the app from your devices.
• •Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and contacting us to request account deletion.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in California, and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve any disputes on an individual basis and waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also provide notice through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BibleScroll regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
